Background of the Yard
The yard originally started off as a family stables with 4/5 family horses. Carrie started to build up the livery business alongside her own Advanced level event career which in turn helped her to fund her competing. Then after having her first daughter Carrie began to focus more upon the livery and coaching side of things. Over time the yard has grown and grown in facilities, number of liveries and amount of lessons.
Now the yard has a full capacity of 40 horses/ponies and up to 12 daily livery client lessons. Two of Carrie's daughters remain riding; Ellie the youngest and Hanna the second eldest. Ellie competes her pony up to 1m alongside a small horse on occasions. She also enjoys spending time with her friends from Pink Equestrian and their own horses or ponies. Hanna is currently pursuing her own showjumping and horse sales career currently competing up to 1.30m whilst also producing young horses as well.
Carrie still rides and schools many horses alongside her busy teaching schedule. Carrie is also looking forward to her very well homebred youngsters to start emerging onto the showjumping circuit in the years to come.
